Product Information

The preamplifier AMPLUS-32 was designed as a compatible module with ULTRASCOPE technology.

ULTRASCOPE technology has a maximum gain of 80dB, which is usually enough for most ultrasound inspections; however for TOFD applications such a high gain is required often.

On the other hand the length of the cables can yield to a low SNR. With AMPLUS-32, you can improve the global SNR and it is not necessary to use high amplification 6 ains.

Therefore its main function is to preamplify and condition very weak ultrasound signals. The maximum gain available is 46 dB. Its main use is the diffraction signals amplification during TOFD inspections where is required a higher gain of 70 dB with coaxial cables over 10 metres length. It is ideal to work in noisy environments. Its aluminium box provides robustness.
