Product Information
ULTRACOPE TOFD is a recent ultrasonic image technology with application basically in welding; it can also be used in the bulk material.
Its development is a consequence of the need to indentify and record the real size of defects. Unlike UTC that uses the attenuation of the reflected signal to identify an approximate size, TOFD uses the time-of-flight difference o diffracted signals in order to identify the size of the defect.
ULTRASCOPE TOFD is a low cost and high performance system. It has all the advantages of the ULTRASCOPE technology, and it also adds the features of a single-channel TOFD system.
